Important Notice: Renata Health is not yet accepting patients and is not currently providing healthcare services. This website operates as a pre-launch informational resource and waitlist only. No clinical or patient relationship is created by submitting your information. When Renata Health begins providing healthcare services, a separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices will govern the use and disclosure of any protected health information.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Renata Health ("Renata Health," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through our website and related online services (collectively, the "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.

Renata Health is the operating name of a company currently in formation. Legal entity details will be updated upon incorporation.

"Personal information" means any information that can identify you or be reasonably linked to you. It does not include de-identified or aggregated data that cannot be used to identify an individual.

We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate our waitlist and communicate with interested individuals.

Information We Collect Automatically

When you visit our Site, certain information is collected automatically:

  • Pages visited and time spent on the Site
  • Referring URL (the page you visited immediately before our Site)
  • Device type and operating system

We use this information only in aggregate form to understand how our Site is used and to improve it. We do not use this information to identify individual visitors.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect Social Security numbers, insurance member IDs, medical records, diagnoses, treatment history, or any other protected health information through this Site. We do not ask for and do not want you to submit health information through our waitlist form.

We use server-side conversion tracking only. We do not deploy client-side advertising pixels that transmit health-context page data to third-party advertising platforms.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely for the following purposes:

  • To notify you when Renata Health launches in your area
  • To send you updates about our service development, if you have opted in
  • To understand aggregate demand and geographic interest in our planned service
  • To respond to direct inquiries you send to us
  • To comply with applicable laws and regulations

We will not use your information to market third-party products or services. We will not contact you for any purpose unrelated to Renata Health without your explicit consent.

3. How We Share Your Information

  • Renata Health ceases operations

6. Your Rights and Choices

Regardless of your state of residence, you may contact us to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time

To opt out of marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or contact us directly. Even after opting out, we may still send you administrative communications such as responses to inquiries.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

7. California Residents — Your Additional Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information. This section supplements the rest of this Policy and applies solely to California residents.

Your CCPA/CPRA Rights

Right to Know: You may request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, our business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.

Right to Delete: You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to limited exceptions required by law.

Right to Correct: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: Renata Health does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. No opt-out is currently required, but we will update this Policy and provide mechanisms if that practice changes.

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined under CPRA through this Site.

Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not deny you services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.

Shine the Light

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Renata Health does not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To confirm this or ask questions, contact us at the address in Section 9.

Submitting a California Privacy Request

To exercise any California privacy right, email us at support@withrenatahealth.com with the subject line "CCPA Request" and describe your specific request. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests. We will respond within 45 days, with the possibility of a 45-day extension with written notice.

8. New York Residents — Your Additional Rights

If you are a New York State resident, the New York SHIELD Act (Stop Hacks and Improve Electronic Data Security Act) requires us to implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your private information. We comply with these requirements as described in this Policy.

New York residents have the right to request access to, correction of, and deletion of their personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address in Section 9. We will respond within 45 days.

New York City Residents

If you are a New York City resident, you are additionally covered by New York State's broader consumer protection framework. We do not engage in deceptive or misleading data practices prohibited under New York law. Our commitment not to sell personal information and our use of server-side tracking only are designed to align with the strongest state privacy protections in our launch markets.

New York Data Breach Notification

In the event of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with New York's data breach notification law (General Business Law § 899-aa), which requires notification without unreasonable delay and within a defined timeframe to affected New York residents and the New York Attorney General.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls limiting who within our team can access collected data, and use of reputable service providers with their own security programs.

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. If you believe your information has been compromised, contact us immediately at the address below.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Site is not directed to children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, contact us immediately.

11. Third-Party Links

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any website you access through a link on our Site. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of every third-party site you visit.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (if we have your address) and by posting a prominent notice on our Site with the updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. We will never use information collected under a prior version of this Policy in a materially new way without first providing notice and an opportunity to opt out.
